The leaflet depicts a mosque, in black-and-white, with two minarets, a dome, and an archetypical Persian arch. A Soviet officer—colored in red—sits atop the mosque with gun in hand. The image is meant to play up concerns in Muslim-majority countries about atheistic communism.
