The image of Empress Farah Pahlavi at Community School, with headmaster John Magagna and Persian director Surur Amiri, is visual evidence of Iranian support for the institutions of the Presbyterian Mission. The split-screen images—which feature flags of, and students from, different countries—underscore the internationalist ethos of Community School.
