An image of the Presbyterian Mission chapel on Central Compound, Qavam al-Saltaneh, also known as Stalin Avenue, in downtown Tehran. The tree-lined, garden-like compound and American-style church stood in stark juxtaposition to the rest of the city just beyond the compound walls.
